Hideki Koizumi
Hideki Koizumi is Professor at Urban Planning research unit in Department of Urban Engineering, University of Tokyo.
He is an expert in both collaborative planning and sustainable
community design management.
His current research topics are urban planning theory and community revitalization in super aging society. He made a great contribution to the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. He is currently involved in community revitalization projects in small cities and suburban neighborhoods, such as Obuse Town in Nagano prefecture and Yokohama City in the Tokyo region.
